 Letters and Endorsements
"I wanted to personally thank you for presenting at our Square Pegs meeting. Many of our participants are hungry for answers to questions they don't even know that they have...Your talk was thorough, neatly planned and well executed. I know this was NOT easy for you to do. So, I wanted to let you know that your presentation was well received and appreciated by all. Thank you again, and I hope you will join us again in the future. I commend you for your valiant efforts to help educate a blind, ignorant world. I don't know if you've been told this lately - but what you are doing is very important, and can be life changing to many. You and your efforts will remain in my prayers. God bless you for all you do, my friend." Deborah, NY
Dear Rudy, I just wanted to send you an email to thank you. I watched your video titled ..."You Don't Have Asperger’s" and I think that my story might remind you that what you do is important to many people...Anyway, I came across your website while doing a paper for school and I started reading it and initially broke into tears, THAT'S MY SAM! Out of the 60 symptoms listed for Asperger’s, he has 58 of them. I couldn't believe it. Then I let your website, as well as a few others educate me and I stopped crying and I felt like the world was lifted off of my shoulders, I know why now. I can't even come close to expressing what it has meant to me to finally get the answers we have so desperately been searching for. So, if no one ever logs onto your website again, you should know that you and your website opened my eyes to AS. Being diagnosed with AS does not mean that his life is over (which is how I felt before I knew what AS is) to the contrary, I will be able to help him now that I know what is wrong and I have the tools necessary to support him and his needs. I love him, like him, and will fight for him and any one else that needs it until the day I die. I have an appointment with a specialist for the testing necessary for the proper diagnosis and I demanded that his preschool set up a meeting between myself, his teacher, speech therapist, and occupational therapist to discuss what our course of action should be with regard to the test results. You are a mother yourself, and you know your child better than anyone, and so do I. I am positive that he has AS, and I am excited to start implementing things that I have learned through your website to help encourage and support him in every way. You have made an immense difference in our lives. We are just a normal family that has been in a very dark and isolated place and you have shined a light in and I will forever be grateful to you and even though he may never express it to you, Sam will forever be grateful to you for what you do. So, thank you, thank you, thank you! He is on the way to diagnosis and treatment and a more comfortable life suited to meet the needs we now know he has. Keep it up. You are making a difference! You are making life better for at least 6 people that I know of. Don't ever give up, I promise that I never will. Good luck in all you do. Forever grateful, JL
You messages are very timely. Yours are also significantly HOPEFUL for people on the spectrum. Keep bringing hope to the world, Rudy. That's what I believe you were made for. You are very good at it.--Craig
You have inspired me with your considered words and good humour. I love the way you talk about AS and am glad to hear you include in your books some hope at the end of all your chapters. I am writing to you to tell you that I love what you are doing and how much I admire your honesty, please keep going. --Jill, UK
"I appreciate your support and truly mean it with all my heart." - Jody, KS
